1. Columbus:  Struggling franchise needs stability at center with the most complete player in the draft.

2. Edmonton: Youth is the future in Edmonton, Yakupov is the missing piece of the puzzle.
RW Nail YAKUPOV (5’10 – 170 lbs) Sarnia Sting - OHL

3. Anaheim: With Selanne and Koivu at the end of their career, Forsberg will bring a new European offense to the RPG(Ryan-Perry-Getzlaf) line.
LW Filip FORSBERG (6’0 – 176 lbs) Leksand - SEL

4. Carolina: With Jeff Skinner as the new franchise forward, Murray will fit perfectly in the near future alongside with Ryan Murphy as the franchise defensemen.

5. Buffalo: Buffalo lacks of a defensive juggernaut. Dumba will bring size, offense and defense.

8. Montreal: Future All Star NHLer, Galchenyuk will finally be what Montreal was searching for, for so long, a franchise centerman with an elite skillset.

9. Winnipeg: Big bulky centerman with an intrigue offensive upside will bring a great presence to the Winnipeg Jets.

10. Phoenix: Despite being an underager at the WJC, Collberg was an offensive force for the Gold medal winning Sweden.

11. Calgary: With his father Paul playing his best hockey for the Flames back in the 80’s, Griffin will have the opportunity to shine in Calgary.

12. Dallas: Being very successful with Swedish players, Dallas gets a great talent from Sweden.

14. Minnesota: Minnesota will really like this USHL product that brings size and grit to a great prospect pool with the Granlund, Coyle, Phillips and Brodin.

15. Toronto: Although not North American, Frk is a Brian Burke type of player, but unlike his past picks, Frk has an incredible offensive upside.

16. New Jersey: With Martin Brodeur on the fall and getting older each year, New Jersey picks the best goalie available of the OHL and the CHL.

17. Florida: With a tremendous prospect pool in offense, Florida gets the most underrated high-end defenseman of the draft. Skating is impeccable and flawless.

18. Washington: Falling due to injury, Washington will be ecstatic with Koekkoek joining their defensive pool with Ceci.

19: Los Angeles: 4th overall pick in 2007 Thomas Hickey seems to become a bust, Derrick Pouliot will gladly contribute to forget LA’s flop pick.

20. Ottawa: Big centerman of the OHL reigning champion team will be an nice addition to Zibanejad and Puempel.

21. Pittsburgh: Hertl used the WJC pretty well to make a name for himself. Big and rangy Czech prospect is rocking up the rankings.

22. San Jose: Since Evgeny Nabokov’s departure, San Jose’s missing his replacement and Vasilevski is exactly what the Sharks need.

23. Philadelphia: With Kimonen getting older and Pronger’s career in jeopardy, the former 1st overall CHL Import Draft pick will be the go to guy in Philly.

24. Chicago: With their surprise pick in Phillip Danault last year, Chicago will not want to pass on the QMJHL’s ROY and very Giroux-like player. Reminds a lot of Kane too.

25. Nashville: Kerdiles adds offense to a very strong prospect pool in Nashville along with fellow American Austin Watson.

26. Vancouver: Being successful with Sweden, Samuelsson is the future for the Canucks offense.

27. Boston: The big and bad Bruins won’t pass on Stefan Matteau, the son of Stéphane Matteau. Kid is going to continue with development next year in the Q, under his father’s coaching.

28. St-Louis: Although Jaarmo Kekelainen gone, St. Louis will love to pick in their European pool a strong Swedish defenseman.

29. NY Rangers: Despite getting cut from team Canada, di Giuseppe has shown signs of a future NHLer.

30. Detroit: When Olli Määttä was injured at the WJC, Pokka became Finland’s most reliable defenseman. He, too, is rocking up the rankings after the event.
